WOKE WORLD TUCKERED OUT

"[I]t will be an ill day for us if what most humans mean by 'religion' ever vanishes from the Earth.... Nowhere do we tempt so successfully as on the very steps of the altar."
~ Screwtape Proposes A Toast

BEFORE YOU GO OFF ON TUCKER CARLSON...
1) Is there a single commentator anywhere you also hold to the standard of infallibility?

2) Can you name even one other major commentator who so boldly, articulately, persistently defends even the most controversial Christian moral principles?

Tucker, we are truly grateful for your courageous, intelligent, thoughtful defense of truth. Against all obstacles, threats, and opposition. We're merciful in shortcomings because we share mortality. Blessed is the Road taking you. We're with you.

TO THE WOKE WORLD. This began with the above Facebook post to some quarters of Christians. Before addressing them, a word to the woke world: I understand why you celebrate the apparent demise of Tucker Carlson. Though flawed, though fallible, Carlson has the audacity to believe in an objective, universal truth we can't determine, but in which we are determined. That everyone ought to regard. Here's the irony: So do you. You assail the very premise you need: Conviction in an objective, universal belief.

1) Your disagreement proves my point. It would reveal you to believe in an objective, universal truth all must regard. If not, if all is subjective, you may care, but why should I? Voicing anything would be absurd.

2) Your disagreement reveals your belief. Your faith. In the sense that what you assert can not be empirically demonstrated. You believe our government should codify things like i
nstitutionalized gender confusion. Abortion on demand. Imposed masks and "vaccines." Racial profiling and quotas. Defunding the police. Removing national borders. Eviscerating traditional marriage and family. Absurd.

Here's the question:
Why should all other assertions of belief be dismissed simply because they happen to derive from recognized "global" systems of belief such as "Christian"? To the inherent flaw of your religion: If words such as "marriage," "family," and "life," mean whatever anyone wants them to mean, they mean anything. Which is to say, nothing.

And if there is no objective, universal truth, who are you to say anything about anything? (If you're a fair, thinking person this is a loud mic drop that should be heard around the world.)

NOW, TO BELIEVERS IN JESUS CHRIST. We believe in a Trinitarian God who made us for completion that can only be found in Him. (Colossians 1) We pray "Thy Kingdom come." And we believe the shape of this Kingdom is objective and universal.

Back to my initial post, if you maintain Christian views on consequential moral matters, why do you join the woke chorus of flippant indignation against the likes of Tucker Carlson, a
dd the likes of Beck, McCullough, Malone, Knowles, Walsh, etc.... particularly without having evidenced real, fair engagement in what they've really said, much less, the context?

For instance, why do some of you criticize Hillsdale College for sponsoring an eye-opening series on Big Pharma by globally-recognized leaders such as RFK, Jr., which on YouTube has literally thousands of positive reactions and comments by some of the most devout, educated, thoughtful demographic there is? Yet you dismiss them without having attended to a single word. In fact, refusing to do so. How is that scholarly?

For those of us in search of based, substantiated truth with critical regard for such sources, we've been blessed with such labels as "demagogue" and "mentally ill." The argument for those who have none (ad hominem / "attack on the man"). They don't want the conversation. They're beholden to the narrative. Uncritically disregarding prospective sources of truth in the name of truth. They're in contradiction.

What diabolical influence this is, I can't name. Something like higher worship of "scholarly" or "prestigious." Certainly, not truth. These are the modern-day, elitist, "educated," religious class version of those whom Christ called "morons" (μωροὶ καὶ τυφλοί Matt. 23:17 - the literal root of "fools").

Too many have not learned the greatest lesson from recent years: We can not uncritically accept pronouncements or policies by anyone. Particularly the most "official" entities.

Most notably, and sad per my original post, this group completely disregards the fact that, though not infallible, though flawed, Tucker has been the only prominent TV commentator who has advocated for the most controversial of Christian ideals. Courageously. Against all pressure. In fact, it was likely his prominent advocacy of Jesus Christ and the call to prayer at his speech at the Heritage Foundation that prompted consternation at the highest levels of Fox News.

Tucker is about the Kingdom. And taking the hits for it.
My question: Why are they coming from you?

Screwtape is pleased.
