THE REAL COLLEGE PANDEMIC (And Another Shout-Out to Hillsdale College)

UNDER THE CIRCUS BIG-TOP OF OTHER COLLEGES you'll find various career-essential rings such as "women's studies" (which won't answer Matt Walsh's question), and transgendering (if genitals are irrelevant to gender, why must they be mutilated?), and all matters communism (after all, they have to stem the tide of Americans fleeing to China, right?), and every other form of assailing the very premise they need: universal, objective truth.

KUDOS TO HILLSDALE COLLEGE, a veritable beacon in advancing the proposition that our humanity is the very fabric of the Good, Beautiful, and True -- for last week hosting a series of formidable speakers on the subject of Big Pharma. Has any subject had a greater impact on the shape of our world today? Does it not merit sober, scholarly consideration and conversation?

Among presenters included legacy-establishment Democrat, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., who shared the story of how he, as an environmental lawyer, very reluctantly came to recognize something very wrong in the state of Big Pharma and government. One day he found a woman at his doorstep insisting he read a stack of peer-reviewed, scholarly research on vaccines. She would not leave until he read it. Accustomed to scientific reading he got through 6 inches and was overwhelmed by the delta, punctuating the difference between what studies were finding, and what was making it into public policy and opinion. IN HIS TALK KENNEDY SHARED DOCUMENTED, sourced research on how this nefarious juggernaut of Big Pharma, government and dot com oligarchs in the past years weaponized COVID/mRNA data and systems to advance their evidently lucrative and social-restructuring agenda to the great detriment of millions of lives, economies, and general well-being throughout the world.

With two children at Hillsdale College, we were blessed to be there and listen. We have read Kennedy's book ("The Real Anthony Fauci: Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health"). It is corroborated by scholarly finding of other courageous researchers and commentators, a good number of whom have paid the price in being deplatformed or fired and ostracized.

WE'VE LEARNED NOTHING from the last season if we have not come to this conclusion: We cannot uncritically accept what is being said by anyone, much less mainstream and official entities.

WHAT IS MOST STUNNING is that, while for the most part humble and intellectually honest people have looked at the ever-emerging data and modified their position, some continue to assail the likes of Kennedy without having read or listened to a single word. Including some conservative leaders, scholars, commentators and politicians!

It really begs the question, what is it that impels those who (in every other subject matter) hold high the value actual sources, but dismiss them in matters as consequential as this?

IT MUST BE SAID, with all the charity I can muster: There is no universe in which making judgments without having attended to sources (not commentaries about the same) can be regarded as scholarly or intellectual. By definition, that is ignorance. And, ironically, perpetuates and punctuates the very danger this Republic currently finds itself in.

FRIENDS, let's please have the humility and courage to attend to what is true. Without uncritical acceptance of whatever merely purports to be. Let's have the humility to know when and what we don't know, and to ask good questions. To really listen. To be humble enough to modify. For the good of all here on this earth, and the Kingdom to which we are all called.
