1. BELIEVE HE IS TRUE. (Matt. 4:4) All He revealed. There is no other explanation for things seen and unseen. (Colossians 1) For ethics and laws. Declare it.
2. BELIEVE HE IS PERSONAL. (Psalm 100:3) Your heart was made for Him. No other thing will satisfy. Declare it. Desire it.
3. MAKE THE SACRED SPACE. (John 4:21) Holy Ground. Anywhere. Turn off all competitors.
4. BE ATTUNED. (Psalm 46:10) Ask for the Holy Spirit to fall. To attend your soul. To guide. Hear Him command the inner storms of your life: "Be still!" Connect with your deepest soul's hunger. Direct it to God.
5. HEAR HIS WORD. Maybe start with 1 John 4. Receive as written to you personally. Meant for you.
6. RECEIVE HIM. (Romans 8:26-27) Allow yourself to be lifted off the pages. Allow Him to penetrate your heart. To awaken your inmost soul. To flood you.
7. CHERISH HIM. (Luke 4:18-21) Let Him move! Let Him work! Let Him comfort, heal, strengthen, consult, direct, restore!
8. ACT PROMPTLY. (James 1:22-25) If and how He directs, don't just decide. Do. In particular, to keep doing!
